Abstract

Eliquis® (apixaban) was associated with a lower rate of major bleeding, stroke and systemic thromboembolic events compared to a vitamin K antagonist. Results show Eliquis was associated with a lower rate of major bleeding and comparable rates of stroke and systemic thromboembolic events versus dabigatran or rivaroxaban.
